[Unboxing] VR

Submission for the GMTK Game Jam 2024

Some people have 211 billion dollars. That scale is hard to appreciate. So here's a game about unboxing 211 billion boxes. Can you complete it?

Should be played with a VR headset but will work (and is playable) without one. For VR mode, use SteamVR, Meta Quest Link, or deploy the APK directly to a Quest 2 or 3 via SideQuest.

VR Mode

• Use controllers
• left thumb stick/touch pad to move
• right thumb stick/touch pad to snap rotate
• left/right thumb stick click to recenter player at work space
• Trigger/grip to grab things 

Non-VR Mode

For non VR mode, play in the browser or launch the Windows/Linux executable without a VR headset and play. Controls for non-VR mode are displayed on the screen in game but for reference:

• Mouse + W,A,S,D to fly. 
• E, Q to rotate - SPACE/CNTRL to ascend/descend
• R to reset position. F to spawn helper. 
• G to toggle factory
• Hold left click to grab
